Lava stone & Pumice

Lava stone, also known as volcanic rock, pumice stone, its bulk density is around 0.4-0.85g/cc, a porous light emission of acidic volcanic rocks glass. Vermiculite is a hydrous phyllosilicate mineral which undergoes significant expansion (exfoliation) when heated. Exfoliation occurs when the mineral is heated sufficiently. It is very lightweight and mixes easily with other mediums. Vermiculite forms by the weathering or hydrothermal alteration of biotite or phlogopite. 

Mica is a natural mineral composed of potassium, aluminum, iron, water and magnesium. Mica is naturally occurring and is collected based on silicate minerals. It is formed into a thin plate or sheet structure, with different mineral compositions and common characteristics. Mica can maintain its elasticity and toughness even at high temperatures, which is why mica is most suitable for use in extreme humidity and temperature conditions. The mineral mica has an absorption range of 2% to 5%.

Calcined kaolin/Kaolin Clay, also called China Clay, is a powdered white non-plastic material. The name "kaolin" is derived from "Gaoling" Kaolinite has a low shrink–swell capacity and a low cation-exchange capacity. It is a layered silicate mineral. It is a soft, earthy and white mineral, produced by the chemical weathering of aluminium silicateminerals like feldspar.

Calcined China Clay has uses in ceramics, paper-making, painting, refractory materials and rubber. It is thus useful in refractory castables and furniture, thermal insulation bodies, low expansion bodies, permeable ceramic composition. 

Perlite is an amorphous volcanic glass that has a relatively high water content, typically formed by the hydration of obsidian. It occurs naturally and has the unusual property of greatly expanding when heated sufficiently. It is an industrial mineral and a commercial product useful for its low density after processing. 

Perlite pops when it reaches temperatures of 850–900 °C (1,560–1,650 °F). Water trapped in the structure of the material vaporises and escapes, and this causes the expansion of the material to 7–16 times its original volume. The expanded material is a brilliant white, due to the reflectivity of the trapped bubbles. Unexpanded ("raw") perlite has a bulk density around 1100 kg/m3 (1.1 g/cm3), while typical expanded perlite has a bulk density of about 30–150 kg/m3 (0.03–0.150 g/cm3).

Cenosphere is a lightweight, hollow sphere made largely of silica and alumina and filled with air or inert gas, typically produced as a coal combustion byproduct at thermal power plants. The color of cenospheres varies from gray to almost white and their density is about 0.4–0.8 g/cm3 (0.014–0.029 lb/cu in), which gives them a great buoyancy.

Cenospheres are hard and rigid, light, waterproof, innoxious, and insulative. This makes them highly useful in a variety of products, notably fillers.
